Dangerous for Allergies - AVOID! My visit to Genius Cafe Bali was a disaster. I ordered gluten-free eggs on toast, but halfway through, I realized the bread wasn't gluten-free. They got my order wrong, and I got sick later in the day. They replaced the meal once they realised, but given I had already eaten half this was not really good enough! This cafe clearly doesn't take allergies seriously and puts customers at risk. Do not go here if you have an allergy; they don't care about your health.

Absolutely adore this beautiful cafe next to the Mercure Sanur resort. The location is excellent, being right in the beach with a gorgeous view. The staff are so friendly and delightful, Mr Win was such an amazing host who was such a pleasure to talk to. The food is exceptional with many options including healthy, vegan and gluten free options. Their spicy chai latte is a godsend, being near impossible to find elsewhere in Bali. Their drinks and smoothie bowls are so well presented and flavourful. I also had their fish burger which was amazing especially with their potato bites which were perfectly seasoned. A must visit place if your in Sanur.

Tried to go here yesterday based off of the amount of gluten free options on their menu. When we arrived they said they couldn’t accommodate my celiac. I’m just not sure what the point of gluten free options are if you can’t make them without cross contamination. Perhaps buying a few items like a cutting board, knife and pots and pans that strictly cook GF food and creating a small small in your kitchen for only gf would be a genius idea. It seems I’m not the first person to come there seeking out true GF food.
