My husband and I recently had dinner at Captain’s BBQ. The food was easy to order, tasted great, and we had a wonderful view! Their sweet potato mash is TERRIFIC. For those people needing gluten free options , the menu shares which items are gluten free and there are a lot of choices! They also have an amazing gluten free cheesecake! Worth the trip, for sure!

Some of the best food I've ever tasted. I have Celiac disease and this didn't make me sick! Perfectly safe southern bbq, amazing gluten free options. I had the brisket, turkey, and the smoked chicken. For sides I had cole slaw and potato salad. Everything was incredible. The brisket literally falls apart in your mouth, meat candy! Gluten free dessert, too! The ebony & ivory cheesecake with the mousse is TO DIE FOR. Eating out on the terrace by the river is a real treat, really beautiful, great breeze, great tunes playing. 10/10 vibes. 10/10 food. Eating on the picnic benches outside is also beautiful, surrounded by old growth oaks, Spanish moss, etc. Super friendly people. Amazing experience here. Food was so delicious that I went back the day after for more 😂

Went here a while ago while leaving Daytona and had a great experience! Good food, friendly staff, nice location. There are gluten-free options that are marked on the menu and their GF cheesecake is the best!!
