Hubby and I (from Australia) began our Canadian holiday with a New Year's dinner at Cardero's. Although jet lagged as we had arrived that morning, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. It was made extra special by our friendly and professional server, Katy. The food was incredible. We had the prawn cocktail and BBQ ribs as appetisers, and both were divine. We then had the signature salmon and beef tenderloin for mains and finished with the most silky and creamy peanut butter cheesecake. It was also decorated with happy anniversary for our 10th wedding anni. Katy helped me with matching wines, and this was much appreciated. We tried ice wine for the first time, and we're addicted. Menu is incredibly gluten friendly. What a delectable dinner to start our Canadian food adventures!

Four of us came here on the spur of the moment and were given a table right away. The atmosphere, ambience, service and food were all excellent. Plenty of food choices and even options for gluten-free which was awesome!
