Chicago Prime Italian Steakhouse

I felt this place was a little pricy especiallyif you want a steak. My meal however was delicious. I got the lobster ravioli but sadly I am gluten free so I got the Gnocchi instead. It had pesto, goat cheese and a balsamic glaze and it was the best thing I put in my mouth our whole trip. I will day dream about for years to come. All the pastas can be made gf which is a real plus. My husband got the chicken piccata and didn't like it. It came with Roasted veggies and the chicken on top...no pasta. He said the chicken was dry I think the lack of pasta didn't help. There was some live music coming from what I assume is the bar area which was nice. The place feels very old school...dark wood and carpet. Overall I would obviously go back once a week if we lived closer just to get that meal again and again but I'd probably get it to go.

This is a favorite! And this time again was a terrific experience. I went with a friend who was a first time visitor and requires gluten free options. Our service staff was patient and took the time to explain options and made a recommendation that turned out to be exactly as promised. We sat outside on the patio with live music and was overall a great evening.
