If I could give negative stars I would. I’m not sure anyone has good experiences here, however I was looking for something quick, easy and celiac friendly. As almost everyone knows chipotle is traditionally one of the safest places for people with celiac if the proper protocol is followed. I went in when they first opened, hoping I’d catch them before any orders were made. I was not early enough and asked them to open new ingredients, at that point I’m assuming the person who is the manager grabbed a new spoon and instructed the person to grab a new bowl and to use that spoon in the already used ingredients. I said I need new ingredients to be opened because it was all contaminated from the spoons being put on the tortillas. He proceeded to roll his eyes at me and mumble under his breath as if this isn’t the policy for allergies. ANYWAY, I ended up saying nevermind I’ll just go somewhere else. So if you have celiac or gluten sensitivity or any allergies stay far away from chipotle on newport.
