Oh my goodness! I have celiac disease and the food was amazing. It was so nice to order off the EXTENSIVE gluten free menu. I got a chicken parm sandwich with gluten free focaccia breaddd it was divine.
But the best part of the day was NICK. He was so understanding of my allergy, attentive, funny, and genuinely cared that me and my mother had the best lunch possible. If I could give negative stars I would. I’m not sure anyone has good experiences here, however I was looking for something quick, easy and celiac friendly. As almost everyone knows chipotle is traditionally one of the safest places for people with celiac if the proper protocol is followed. I went in when they first opened, hoping I’d catch them before any orders were made. I was not early enough and asked them to open new ingredients, at that point I’m assuming the person who is the manager grabbed a new spoon and instructed the person to grab a new bowl and to use that spoon in the already used ingredients. I said I need new ingredients to be opened because it was all contaminated from the spoons being put on the tortillas. He proceeded to roll his eyes at me and mumble under his breath as if this isn’t the policy for allergies. ANYWAY, I ended up saying nevermind I’ll just go somewhere else. So if you have celiac or gluten sensitivity or any allergies stay far away from chipotle on newport.

I rated this place 4 stars because Ford and Osa are amazing! They understood the severity of my allergy and made me feel super comfortable eating at this place.
I've been here maybe around 5-6 times which says alot. Unfortunately not sure if I'll be back. LOVE the steak and chesse. But their turkey and provolone was a no go... I had an immediate reaction. Then again the person preparing it didn't go above and beyond like osa and Ford. Also the taste was super bland. I guess if your starving and need a quick bite sure. But if your here just go for the hot stuff or maybe a cold sandwich with more life to it.

My family and I had a great meal at China Pearl tonight. We were a group of 14 and had vegetarians and gluten free people in the group and they were so accommodating, Patty in particular. We were able to give them a list of dishes we wanted to order ahead of time and we didn’t have to wait long before the food arrived. I am gluten free and would definitely go back- the food was delicious and it’s hard sometimes to get gluten free Chinese food. Highly recommend for large groups and for those with allergies! They took great care of us.

My husband found this restaurant last year and it may be one of my favorite restaurants. I return multiple times a week when I can, because the soup is addicting. I order the Mala noodle soup with sliced beef. The Mala soup flavor is amazingly good and complex. I order the soup extra spicy which requires tissues and careful sipping so that I don't accidentally inhale the chili spice lol. The beef is tender and all of the other ingredients complement the soup well. The rice noodles are cooked nicely and are gluten-free, which makes it doable for me. I also order the brown sugar sticky rice, which is soft, sticky, and slightly sweet. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

Excellent pizza. Crispy crust with good gluten development so the edge crust has a chewy interior. Nice cheese blend, and tasty sauce. Great cheese pizza. I always consider the regular cheese pizza the standard for comparing different pizzerias. We also got a salami, onion and green pepper pizza that was cooked perfectly. The best was a side of chicken tenders that I ordered just to try out. Some of the best tasting fried chicken I have ever had. Whatever their breading is it's perfect, not too salty, not plain but not to spicy. I've been going here for over fifty years and thankfully whoever owns it now has kept up high level of quality food. Thank you Balducci's!!
