STAY AWAY IF YOU HAVE CELIAC When we arrived, I asked if they had a gluten-free menu. The hostess said yes, but that our server would bring it to us. When the server first came by, she took our drink orders and immediately asked if we were ready to order. I asked for the gluten-free menu, and she said she’d bring it. She came back again shortly after and asked if we were ready, but I still hadn’t received the menu. At that point, she listed one menu item and a few sides that she thought were gluten-free. This was already a huge red flag—clearly their staff has no proper training on what gluten-free actually means. After she listed the single menu item, she asked again if I was ready to order. I explained that I wanted to know all the gluten-free options. She said she’d have to check with the manager. I told her I was fine waiting. About five minutes later, she came back once again to ask if we were ready, but we still hadn’t spoken with the manager. She apologized, saying he was busy in the kitchen, and I told her that was fine—I could wait a little longer. When the manager finally came by, the only gluten-free option on their entire menu was plain, unseasoned chicken. My family was already hungry, so I settled for that. Unfortunately, the food overall was terrible—nobody at our table enjoyed what they ordered. We won’t be back.

I am gluten free our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu items. So it made it easier for me to order safely. I also learned that their rice is safe unlike wgat I had read and online. The corn tortillas are hand made daily so they are also safe. I was so excited to be able to enjoy a meal like i had before I had a gluten sensitivity.
