We were so disappointed in our visit. I called a couple of days ahead to ask if they still offered gluten free options because it had been a couple of years since we had been there. Both my husband and my adult daughter have Celiac Disease and we had a lovely experience there about 3 years ago. The person on the phone told me absolutely, they still have a gluten free menu. We made reservations and went a couple of days later. When we asked the waitress about gluten free options she clearly was not educated on what that meant and was very rude to us. We tried to have a conversation with her and explained we had been told there was a gluten free menu. We were so turned off by her attitude and didn’t feel confident at all about getting a safe meal so we paid for our unfinished cocktails and left. We don’t expect every restaurant to accommodate our dietary needs and always call ahead to verify. This poor review is not about gluten free or not gluten free it is about being told we could be accommodated on the phone and then being treated so poorly at the restaurant.
