We were able to get a table because of a last minute reservation. The service is good and they were helpful with the recommendations. The calamari was crispy and light, not doughy like some other establishments. I do wish they had a dip on the side to complement the flavours. I got the pappardelle as recommended, which was cooked perfectly, but I ultimately switched plates with my partner because the lamb was absolutely delicious, and he liked the pasta more so win-win! It was more on the rare side, which I loved. The potatoes were a nice touch. The only dish that disappointed was the lava cake, but I think that was because it was gluten-free so we expected something more traditional. Nevertheless it was not bad, just not something we would get again. When we were paying the bill, either the manager or the owner came by to say thank you for dining with them which was such a nice gesture! We would love to come back to try the other recommendations (uni pasta!).

Got the truffle mushroom and scallop appertizer, mind blowingly amazing. I would order it again. The lemony foam on top was so good. I’ve always dislike truffle oil but this truffle mushroom is a game changer. Apparently truffle oil is not real truffle. Which explains why I disliked it. Also got gluten free pasta with lobster sauce and it was only so so. Maybe it’s the pasta texture but it wasn’t as mind blowing. My partner got the sable fish and he loved it. We got chocolate soufflé for dessert. Very good. I do make soufflé at home and theirs are definitely more gooey inside, the sauce was great and the little ice cream is very good. I would come back again if they have better options for gluten-free pasta. I wish I could have normal pasta but I can’t… it’s very sad for me to not be able to taste fully the culinary here.
