My husband and son brought me to Cockles Cafe on Mother's Day for brunch as a surprise. They chose well. The staff were pleasant and friendly, the food was delicious and plentiful and there were clean toilets on the premises. My Nasi Goreng was very tasty and salt and pepper squid on the top was cooked perfectly, as was the rest. My need for gluten free food was taken seriously and our waitress was very knowledgeable about the ingredients in each dish etc. There were many gluten-free options.
