Went early on Valentine’s Day. Found seating at the bar while waiting for a table. The bartenders were friendly and attentive despite being very busy with people waiting for tables coming and going quickly. No gluten free beer but the beer my s.o. had was reported as very good. The atmosphere was cozy, sports bar/restaurant in feel and set up, but not too loud and very friendly. The views of the front range and Air Academy are great and their outdoor dining area would be perfect in warmer weather. The menu offered a variety of meats and flavors. I eat pescatarian or vegetarian and there were enough choices that it made me feel good that I could choose from more than one dish. I can’t have gluten or nuts, and still there was more than the usual choice of one thing for me to eat as found in many other restaurants. The pepita crusted salmon salad was delicious. The other diner with me had the fish and chips and reported that it was absolutely one of the best fish and chips ever. We both liked the brussels sprouts although I prefer mine charred a bit. The flourless chocolate cake was amazing! It melted in your mouth like a wonderful truffle and was rich and smooth. Staff seemed to actually like being there. We saw lots of smiling friendly faces and teamwork. Staff who were not our actual server stopped by or offered to remove plates, etc. It seemed that management was helping as well and appeared happy and loving their work. I will definitely return here.
