Continental Treat Fine Bistro - Downtown

My daughter and her husband took me out for dinner last night and chose this restaurant because it was gluten free. What a win! They were featuring a concert band and we were seated in the first seat, right beside them. We thought at first that it would be too noisy, and it was! But what fun! As my daughter said, "We get to visit all the time, but when do we get to be entertained like this?" As expected, the food was great and I didn't have to worry about being sick. It was very special, and we will be back.

I sauntered in here for dinner one weekend evening. Surprisingly, there wasn't anyone manning the front of the house desk. Instead, there was a bell that I had to press for service and then waited about 5 minutes before someone came to attend me. I ordered the dill pickle soup and the mushroom pierogies. The soup was quite delicious and I enjoyed the complimentary complex butter and gluten free bread. The pierogies were ok, a little doughie but the accompanying mushroom sauce was fine. However, $25 for 6 pierogies is daylight robbery. I wouldn't come back here again unfortunately. I don't think this place is as fine dining as it wants to be and certainly doesn't demand such exorbitant rates.

The best gluten-free fine dining restaurant in edmonton. Food is delicious even if you are not on a gluten-free diet worth trying, especially on live music nights.
