We went for dinner on a Monday night. We had a reservation, but arrived early. We waited in the lobby area that had a tasting/bar area on one side. It was VERY loud, and had trouble talking to each other. When it was time to be seated, we were asked if we wanted to sit in the bar, and my husband said yes. It was also kind of loud in there also, even though it wasn't too busy. We had a very nice server, Cynthia. I asked about wheat in an item since I have an allergy, and she quickly brought me a gluten sensitive menu. There is only one steak on the menu, and my husband did not check this out before making our reservation. We mostly eat meat, and didn't expect to only have one steak optionl. I ordered it, an 8 oz. filet, medium. I asked to just have a side salad, no other sides. My husband ordered the Surf and Turf filet medallions medium rare, and shrimp. He also asked for just a side salad for a side, no other sides. We received our orders with mashed potatoes on the plates, my steak had fried onion strings on it. I asked about that, and the gentleman said they were fried in a specific gluten-free fryer, and I asked if they had any flour, he didn't really answer. My husband got 2, 1 &1/2" cubes of steak, and 3nshrimp for $44.99. My 8oz steak was $45.99. His were cooked slightly past mid-rare, mine came out rare, but it was excellent. He defiinitely didn't have enough to eat. We were astonished at the very small portions he received. The salads were good. However, we would prefer to have other steak choices like NY strip or ribeye, so we won't return for dinner. We did have good service, I had a good glass of wine, and appreciated the option to. try a couple before making a decision.
