I was unimpressed by the lack of allergy friendly foods they had. For being a place that services people from all over the world, I find it very discouraging that they did not have a gluten free menu at the Coronado cafe and only had “gluten friendly toast”. When asked for help and clarification from the kitchen they were unhelpful. If you choose to eat here and have a gluten intolerance or celiac’s disease, please choose to go elsewhere.

I have to give credit to the chefs and to the servers as well. I have celiac disease therefore I cannot have any Gluten which comes from wheat, barly and rye. Everyone from our servers to the chefs were so very careful to not only prepare my meals separately in the kitchen but to serve them separately and covered as well. Breakfast is served all day until close which makes it nice to not have to go to a buffet so early in the morning. We ate breakfast for dinner twice which was excellant! There are such large portions served that it is nearly impossible to finish everything on the plate. We had ham steak, 2 eggs, hash browns and choice of toast, which included gluten free toast, sourdough, white, wheat, or rye. The cost was under $10 to $13.00 per person. The second time I had steak and 2 eggs, served piping hot with hash browns, The cost was close to $19. Mom had 2 egg and hasbrowns served with 5 strips of bacon for approx $10.45. My husband Ray, had the $18.99 Prime Rib special for a low $18.99. Our servers were excellant both times, remembering I had the Gluten Free orders and a shellfish allergy. They were on the ball and quick with service regardless of the fact that the restaurant was completely full, having a line of customers just waiting to be seated. If you're really a night owl, from 12:00 a.m to 6:00 a.m, the same steak and egg breakfast is a low $6.95 per person. There is also a huge burger special for $4.95. Breakfast is also $3.99. I'd highly recommend Coronado Cafe to everyone, especially those of you who have special dietary needs. So far, I've turned into a pumpkin "before" midnight therefore we've yet to take advantage of the Midnight Specials at Coranado. Lol. It is worth every penny for both the food and excellant service! You're also saving a lot of money by not eating at the buffet every day. Ching-ching! Be sure to tip your wait staff! My philosophy is that if you can't afford a decent tip, you can't afford to go out to eat. Be waited on while catering to your every need and then cleaning up after us, your wait staff deserves to be compensated for a job well done!
