Cotton & Rye

Great place for dinner. We had the shrimp and grits (amazing), seasonal crudo (excellent), smash cheeseburger (excellent), vegetable lasagna, and peanut butter pie (pretty good). Everything we got, except the pie, was gluten-free.

Ordered the lamb ragu w pasta, but asked for a gluten free alternative. Their best idea was potatoes w the ragu. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the biggest salt bomb ever with soggy potatoes. They tried, but definitely not well thought out. I didn't eat much, and told them why. Out of courtesy they should have comped something since it was their inedible creation. Especially for $38. Definitely would not return.

Had such an amazing experience. My server was super accommodating and understand to my intolerance to gluten. The shrimp and grits is a MUST HAVE. Def avoid if you can’t have dairy, but it was incredible. The market fish is what I had for an entree and it was gluten free as it comes. No dessert but she was willing to make something that I would’ve been able to eat. Would absolutely be back!
