Today I went to lunch, the worst experience of my life.
I ordered a lemon chicken breast, salad and gluten-free bread.
The chicken breast was excessively salty, but edible. As for the gluten-free bread, I was served old, hard and just warmed up bread, basically a piece of wood.
I pretended nothing had happened and left it on the plate where it was served to me, an oversight can happen.
At the end of the meal the waitress asked me how the bread was so at that point I pointed out that the bread was not edible.
The waitress apologized and asked me if I wanted something else like coccoli to take away.
By now I had finished the second course so I refused the offer.
I asked for a gluten-free dessert to end the meal.
I was served gluten-free Cantuccini Prato with vinsanto. Everything was fine, they seemed good until I noticed some filaments on the canticcino and then a worm fell.
I look at the cookie and inside there was another worm.
I point out everything to the waitress and she apologizes taking the plate away.
I head towards the cashier and in addition to the apologies for what happened nothing else, I am given the bill for the complete fixed menu without discounts or anything else.
For what happened a customer should at least have a discount or not pay.
A restaurant that serves you old, stale bread and even worse, cookies with worms inside. Crazy stuff.
I don't think I'll go back to a place like that.
