We came to this restaurant because they have a separate gluten free menu. The options are quite extensive, from gluten free spaghetti and pici to Tuscan beef tripe. They don't make the pasta themselves though. You do need to reserve in advance because the place is quite touristy and we found the atmosphere to be quite hectic.

We arrived at night in Florence and discovered this place for dinner. The prices are good and in relation to the food it was good. The dish in the photo is a beef burger that is served as a kind of pita, with salad, potatoes and barbecue to accompany. We also ordered an apperol spritz and coke. Price for 2 people was €55 if that works for you as a reference. The atmosphere is very local and simple, don't expect luxury. The service is good, they tried to speak in Spanish and it was good. Something to take into account: Ask beforehand about the presentation of the dishes so that it does not surprise you. There are pizza options too, in case you don't want to explore other options on the menu. They have gluten free options, I liked that. I hope my reference is useful to you 🤓

A decent spot for a celiac trying to navigate eating out while traveling. Being handed an entirely separate and gluten free menu felt comforting after walking out of a restaurant who wouldn’t indicate which, if any, dishes were safe. The meal itself was good for being gluten free. I’m only a few months in to my diagnosis so I still compare to regular pastas and dishes which can be tough. I ordered the ravioli which was semi-bland but I still enjoyed it.

If you are looking for a restaurant that offers its entire menu with AND gluten-free + lactose-free, each cooked in its own isolated kitchen then look no further! Mama Eat is THE restaurant in Florence where food intolerances can share their table with people without intolerance without any restrictions on the menu. The staff is very kind and attentive. The atmosphere is very nice, a little away from the busy places which allows you to be calm even outside.

Very good food, friendly service, Ribollita the best I've ever eaten. Upon arrival, you will receive free bread, a glass of Proseco and a small dessert at the end. One of the few restaurants with a gluten-free menu. I will definitely come back here.

The food is excellent: the pizza, the starters, the first courses, the second courses, etc. it's all very good. For celiacs it is a paradise, all pizzas are gluten-free on request, they also have gluten-free pasta on request, bread and focaccia. The staff is kind, welcoming and attentive to customer needs. It's always an excellent point of reference where you can have a delicious breakfast, or an excellent brunch or an excellent lunch!! Beautiful environment, beautiful external courtyard!! Vegetarian restaurant with vegan and gluten-free options. Delicious food, abundant dishes like those of your mother or grandmother when they haven't seen you for a while and superlative desserts. The icing on the cake (by the way - the vegan lemon pistachio and coconut one is ing enjoyment) is the very kind and friendly staff. Prices in proportion quantity/quality/price very popular. Top quality ingredients also make gluten-free dough. I didn't find it expensive as a place, in fact good prices. The only thing is that the ingredients are a little too sipped. I'm not saying to exaggerate but not the opposite either. Otherwise excellent service and speed in serving customers. Very professional staff.

What can I say to you Marco, first of all thank you very much. Hospitality, friendliness, advice and recommendations, all PERFECT! Let's start with the wines, or rather, the warm and enveloping atmosphere and welcome. Wine: poetry in a bottle, 2 out of 2 highly appreciated recommendations! Mixed appetizer to share, top quality raw materials typical of the area, expertly enhanced and without corrupting the taste, on the contrary! Sharing first course: Scrigni cheese, pepper and truffle with a little pear which gave a sweet note to the dish... another 10+! And then the triumph on the table: The Fried Steak! A must for this place that works meat like a master! We are doing the review before the dessert and the bill but by now it is clear: Here you don't eat, you fly! Keep up the good work and thanks again for the memorable experience! Ps also many choices of desserts and gluten-free dishes

As I recently learned, the venue also offers the possibility of hosting class groups for lunch, offering rock history lessons in the previous two hours. I accompanied a high school class to a lesson in English on the history of the Beatles (the other proposals were The history of rock and Women's rock). The two-hour lesson with a tour of the venue and the presentation of the memorabilia donated or purchased by the Rock Caffè of Florence, was held by a passionate musician named Jacopo who was able to captivate the group by alternating news in English or Italian with the listening to songs from the period. The environment is very welcoming and so is the staff, the food is acceptable with variations for celiacs and attention to any intolerances. Included in the course is a card that offers a 20% discount for any purchases of clothing or gadgets in the store (which otherwise wouldn't be exactly cheap). In short, overall it was a positive and fun experience to try at least once. Advised.

What can I say, I've been going to this place for years and I'm not very happy with it. Furthermore, my daughter and I are allergic to gluten and I must say that although they don't have separate kitchens, we have never felt sick as has happened in other places. Modest location. They also have gluten-free options, the pizza dough is sent from other producers so they don't use ready-made bases, and I must say the pizza wasn't bad at all. The desserts are excellent, especially the gluten-free cheesecake. I advise the owner to get the celiac disease association certification by having these options at least you are more traceable by celiacs.
