We've wanted to try this restaurant for a long time, but as we've never been to Genoa there's never been an opportunity. We were finally lucky enough to do it (and I say lucky because it was already sold out when we arrived!). As soon as you enter, you are embraced by warm colors and an extremely comfortable and familiar atmosphere, typical of REAL Italian restaurants, and we love this. The menu is well written and "fun" in the sense that it talks about history, has relevance, lots of offerings and at the same time entertains without being tacky. The only problem with this menu is that all the dishes offered are tempting, which makes it difficult to choose. However, as far as I'm concerned, Toni's anchovies were SPACE! Together with the panissa. I recommend the mixed appetizers if you want to try a bit of everything. As for the first courses, I think I have understood that there is this Raviolo in love which is the Faro dish of the house, unfortunately no longer available last night but it is there, for a little restaurant where everything is homemade and with love (which you can feel and see) I also recommend the Mandilli with pesto, a real bomb of flavours. The fish is very good and of excellent quality, as is the skill with which all the dishes are prepared. Even fried foods are not wet and heavy. Possibility to also satisfy celiacs, they made us gluten-free spaghetti with clams, delicious! Unfortunately we no longer had space for dessert, but I can tell you that the idea of having a coffee maker at the table is brilliant, and the coffee is delicious. As for the service, here too it remains convivial but still very pleasant, it feels like entering a friend's house and immediately feeling at ease, and this is really nice. An extra smile was never missing during the evening and this is nice. Congratulations to everyone, I'll be back!

Good choice ! Nice story ! When they say: "a name, a guarantee". Here is a clear example. And with this I could also stop here but I continue to strongly recommend everyone, not only "foreigners" but above all Genoese people, to visit this lovely place in the Porto Antico area, right in front of the former fish market. This too is a good choice. "Family" managed but no less professional, "Da licki gli mustache" is a very pleasant experience. Cozy, well furnished, with attention to detail and very clean. It offers "home cooking" with typically Ligurian dishes with a look at more modern recipes for both meat and fish and where even celiacs will be satisfied. The menu tells a beautiful story: that of the cook Vanessa, owner of the restaurant since 2017 together with her husband Andrea, and of her love for cooking and home recipes since she was a child. Dishes prepared with love and attention ranging from a selection of captivating appetizers - special mention to the Fassona Cheesecake and Cappon Magro - to first courses, fish or typically Genoese ones with pesto or walnut sauce. Among the second courses, excellent quality of meat with perfect cooking, Stockfish del Baffo that you would never finish eating and Snails alla Verazzina, an ancient recipe from Borgio Verezzi. The anchovy rolls were also delicious and reminded me of Sicily... the region of origin of Vanessa's family. Every day three or four dishes are off the menu such as a superb Ligurian rabbit, very fresh grilled or Ligurian fish, artichokes when in season are offered fried "in rounds" and not in wedges. Don't joke about desserts either...you will be spoiled for choice. The wine list is not extensive but complete and a house wine is up to the task. The bill? Excellent quality/cost ratio, a pleasant surprise too. Congratulations to Vanessa and thanks to Andrea for his kind welcome and his kind service in the room. Well done, keep it up
