Happy to see this restaurant back open and they did a lovely job with the remodel.
Rumors were saying they want to turn the place into a club at night - I really hope that is NOT the case - especially for all the condos nearby who enjoy the 11pm noise curfew of the area.
The waiter Luis Joya was very nice and talked me into a fabulous specialty drink with vodka, blackberries, pomegranate and smoked cinnamon. Plus he was a gem when it started raining and adjusted the umbrellas for us multiple times.
The food was pretty good, I tried a pasta dish and the birria tacos, neither were excellent but overall they are still one of the better restaurants on the beach. The menu is a little odd. It almost is going in too many different directions because you can get rigatoni and a flatbread but then get a burger or pork chops, salmon, but then corn chowder and spicy tuna tacos. I do appreciate that they had some vegan options, gluten free options, etc. Prices are much more like the US vs Mexico. A salad was around $15-18, they had a steak dish that was more like $30.
I do want to go back and try their brunch. :)
