La Otilia is the perfect place to eat if you have dietary restrictions or a specific diet. They have gluten-free, keto, vegan, paleo, and other options.
This time, we ordered a Hawaiian pizza. Although they recommend sharing it, I feel like the portion is personal.
For dessert, we ordered a lemon pie and a gansito (my favorite!), along with smoothies (red berries, coconut yogurt, and ginger).
The place is pet-friendly 🐶💙 and they have dog treats.
The staff is very friendly 🙌🏼
The BEST Gluten-Free Pizza I’ve Ever Had!
This place is an absolute gem! As someone who eats both vegan and gluten-free, finding great pizza can be a challenge—but this spot blew me away. The gluten-free crust was hands down the best I’ve ever had: crispy on the outside, soft inside, and full of flavor. The vegan cheese was incredible—creamy, melty, and made in-house like everything else on the menu.
The owners were so warm and welcoming, and even gave us some fantastic local tips for diving in the area. I really appreciated how seriously they took my dietary needs—they were extra careful with my gluten-free order to avoid any cross-contamination, which gave me so much peace of mind.
Even my husband, who’s not usually into vegan pizza, devoured his and couldn’t stop raving about how good it was. We’ll absolutely be back to try the empanadas and brownies—this spot is a must-visit!
Such a good vibe, very calm even though it’s close from the main streets and board walk. The owner and staff are so kind. And the food, wow so so good. We tried the pizza, it was like an authentic Italian pizza. **they have pizza and pasta that are gluten free !!
Santa Iguanas had such a fun, chill vibe with a bright and lively atmosphere. The live music really brought the energy and made the experience feel extra special. We loved the margaritas and sangrias! They were perfectly made and super refreshing. The food was absolutely delicious, and the bruschetta was a standout. They even brought out one gluten-free and one regular version so we could both enjoy it, which was such a thoughtful touch. Tons of gluten-free options overall, which was a big plus. Definitely a memorable spot—we’ll be back!
This business made my wedding cake. It was the best cake my husband and I had ever had. I can’t rave enough about the taste and texture of this cake. No one would ever know it was gluten free.
Best place to eat in Oaxaca for people with food allergies. I’m gluten free and dairy free and was able to enjoy a lovely breakfast and dinner with no problems. They also have dairy free and gluten free pastry options.
I ate there in person 2 weeks ago it was fantastic!!!! I just received my rappi delivery the chicken sandwich has so much salt I can’t eat it. It’s an overwhelming amount. :( the food was so great the first time as a celiac person I was really excited.
Gorgeous restaurant and amazing food! Ate here on my birthday while visiting Playa del Carmen and was so magical and delicious! I have celiac (gluten allergy) and the team was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable on allergies - Highly recommend the tuna steak - it was so delicious! And the restaurant is actually built around a cenote - super cool experience and some of the best food I ate in Mexico!

To all my gluten free and Celiac friends, yesterday we went to Mezcal and Sal and it was delicious. As soon you sit and tell them you have a gluten free allergy they ask if you are celiac. Mara and Leo were our amazing waiters and they made sure i was well taken care of too. I had the vegan cheese quesadilla and it was delicious I also had the shrimp gluten free tisadito. Thank you Mara and Leo I would definitely go back :)

I recently dined at Layla and had an incredible experience! The food was absolutely fantastic, with options to suit every dietary need, including being Celiac friendly. The staff was wonderful, creating a welcoming atmosphere with their great service and friendly demeanor. The vibe of the restaurant was awesome, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Highly recommend!
A good option for those looking for a different experience than the usual restaurant experience. The kitchen team pays attention to the ingredients, along with a wellness experience and an explanation of each food and the reasons for a certain process. Try their desserts, which, in addition to being gluten-free and healthy, are an unforgettable explosion of flavor. I would go back without hesitation. Let yourself be swept away by the experience and ask if you have any questions.
A pretty garden in the shade of the jungle, smiling and welcoming staff and impeccable service.
A healthy and tasty breakfast...
and even a delicious gluten free chocolate tart.
I recommend 200%
Gluten Free Baked Goods are the best. This is a bit of an unusual review. I have to eat Gluten Free. I had one of the cupcakes at Flora Farms and was impressed by how good it was. We have a home in Pescadero up the coast an hour and usually are in Baja for my birthday. I decided to order a cake from Flora Farms. We had to pick it up 3 days early after an airport pick-up. I was a bit worried about transporting the cake but we brought a portable refrigerator and managed with only a little damage that was later covered by flowers. I ordered Gluten Free Red Velvet with cream cheese frosting. The cake held up beautifully for 3 days - I froze it and thawed the day of serving. It honestly was one of the best cakes any of us - gluten free and not alike - had ever had. The frosting has tons of vanilla bean and the texture of the cake outstanding. There is the tiniest hint in the texture that it is gf that only I would pick up since I worry sometimes whether things are truly gf - that slight difference is reassuring. Enjoying leftovers for breakfast. Glad I only have cake on my birthday as it would be too easy to over indulge.
I imagine Flora Farms makes good cakes because of the wedding activity on site but very few manage a gluten free version this amazing.
I came here for the Gluten Free pancakes and they didn’t disappoint. They are very buttery and sweet. Best ones I’ve tasted in Tulum. Andres was my waiter and he was very attentive and welcoming. Really great place to work remote and spend the day.
Celiac friendly & delicious. Everyone loves their dishes. I had the shrimp tacos and I’d definitely go there again. The server was super helpful, friendly & knowledgeable.
Such a cute cafe with great service, great food and good coffee too. Lots of authentic options and also great gluten free and dairy free options too. Definitely recommend if you’re in PV, we came here multiple times ⭐️
They have homemade gluten free gnocchi which was a plus for me. Pesto was really good and I added grilled shrimp which was flavorful. My partner had the sea bass and he was a fan. Service was great and host explained the dishes in detail. Ohh and the chocolate cake was good too.

This place is sheer perfection, it was the first restaurant we tried in Mérida and we're going back. Paula and the team have created a fantastic atmosphere along with delicious and beautiful food. It's not easy to create a balance of stellar dishes while still maintaining a welcoming and playful vibe, all the servers were fantastic. We had the duck tacos and the tuna tacos, Poema Oaxacena cocktails and guacamole you dream of. The design aesthetic of the place is remarkable, from the beautiful light fixtures to the surprise and delight of the treats and words of wisdom at the end of the meal. We can't wait to go back this week!
Also if you're celiac, they have everything identified clearly on the menu and communicated purposefully what I could and couldn't eat when bringing anything to the table.
I love this place! Being gluten free and vegan is hard in the US and even harder in Mexico. This store has many pastries and desserts, not all are vegan and gluten free, but I found several options when I went! I had pan, muffins, cinnamon rolls, hand pies, and cake.
They also have vegan cheese and gluten free tortillas (made from nopales!). Many grocery items are available, like milks, flours, cookies, nuts, popsicles, etc.
The employees are great, too. They helped me find the gluten free items. I didn't speak much Spanish and the lady I talked to didn't speak much English, but she was really nice and we made it work!
I didn't have the chance to eat at the restaurant part of it, but I definitely will next visit.
Most of the things on the menu are gluten free. Lots of options to choose from. Portions are quite generous and the taste is great. They even provide coffee refills on the house.
So far, my favorite place on the island. Definetly recommend.
Everything was very delicious! Very good option for vegans and non-vegans. I came with a non-vegan person and he didn't notice the difference! You can also choose gluten free bread, and my sister can't eat gluten so it was perfect.
My favorites were the Poyo bites and the milkshake :))
Excellent Sunday plan!
Absolutely spectacular! Such a fun, friendly, and beautiful atmosphere. Best servive. Such love. MY HEART IS SO FULL! The family feel, the melody and tune of the entire place. The people! The connection.
And the safety and cleanliness. I have Celiac and they were very accommodating. I felt so safe to eat. And I ate it all! 😋 Can't wait to be back!

Lovely restaurant, food was good, not exceptional but quite nice. Service was excellent and the ambiance while dining on the beach was lovely.
After dining at numerous beach restaurants in PV the beach vendors are very overwhelming while trying to enjoy your meal. It would be nice if some partitions were in place to keep vendors out so they aren't hassling you at your table. Drinks were okay, they had a nice selection of "not-your-average" cocktails.
Very accommodating to gluten and dairy allergies and the menu was easy to navigate these allergies as well.
Nice place for brunch. Food is good, between too healthy and healthy; plenty of options to choose from including gluten free ones. Prices are a bit high, but okay for San Miguel Allende. Services isn't great though. Staff is super friendly but they forgot some requests we made, didn't hear us when we called and so on. So be patient. The restaurant itself has a rustic style.
This restaurant is overrated, the food is not bad but there are better restaurants.
A must of the place is the manteles short rib, the best in the place, and the rib eye with mashed potatoes. For appetizers we ordered a beef tongue tea and barbecue tacos, these appetizers are recommended to be skipped or instead look for another appetizer option. For dessert I recommend the coconut pineapple and the flan, the one that tasted the most was the coconut, it was exquisite, another thing to be grateful for is that it is gluten free and the flan was good but I think there are better desserts.
In summary, the best of the night was the short rib, the rib eye and the coconut pineapple.
Overall score I would say 4.0
GLUTEN-FREE PIZZA 🙌🏻 Delicious, excellent service from Cordobés and Dani (the adopted Argentinian) I recommend 10/10 to those with celiac disease 🚨
PS: ARGENTINOS DE RAMOS MEJÍA 🇦🇷🤍💙
Great pizza for very reasonable price. Gluten free option was also good. Good customer service and speedy delivery. Able to pay with my card directly to the driver.

This was one of my favorite restaurants and one of the best experiences I had in CDMX. The staff was very knowledgeable and, even though only about 1/4 of the menu was GF, everything I ate was delicious!
Jolly is absolutely one of my favorite cafes in Cozumel. The food is always great and the atmosphere is chill and cozy. The staff is always fast and friendly. When I vacation on the island this is always the restaurant I go to first. My favorite is the Eggs Benedict but the avocado toast is a close second. The golden milk is very good and there coffee is made very well.
Andy the waitress is always so cheerful and fun! It's a joy getting breakfast here. Their gluten free bread is great!!
Leo, Agus, Gianfranco and David made our trip here one to remember! They were amazing, kind, and fun. We came back multiple times for drinks or breakfast. They had good gluten free options as well!
Wow, wow, wow! Rarely have I had such good service! Sangria was extremely good (tip: order the 1/2 liter straight away, it's cheaper 😉). Pizza bread was amazing too! Ravioli too! Gluten-free pasta is also served. Every heart beats faster 🙏🏼
