Flora Farms

Gluten Free Baked Goods are the best. This is a bit of an unusual review. I have to eat Gluten Free. I had one of the cupcakes at Flora Farms and was impressed by how good it was. We have a home in Pescadero up the coast an hour and usually are in Baja for my birthday. I decided to order a cake from Flora Farms. We had to pick it up 3 days early after an airport pick-up. I was a bit worried about transporting the cake but we brought a portable refrigerator and managed with only a little damage that was later covered by flowers. I ordered Gluten Free Red Velvet with cream cheese frosting. The cake held up beautifully for 3 days - I froze it and thawed the day of serving. It honestly was one of the best cakes any of us - gluten free and not alike - had ever had. The frosting has tons of vanilla bean and the texture of the cake outstanding. There is the tiniest hint in the texture that it is gf that only I would pick up since I worry sometimes whether things are truly gf - that slight difference is reassuring. Enjoying leftovers for breakfast. Glad I only have cake on my birthday as it would be too easy to over indulge. I imagine Flora Farms makes good cakes because of the wedding activity on site but very few manage a gluten free version this amazing.

We had an incredible experience at Flora Farms! Starting from the moment we arrived to the time we left the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The grounds include small shops with local goods and a delicious little coffee shop. The food from the restaurant was incredible from top to bottom. We were welcomed with a free amuse-bouche of pumpkin soup that was divine. Excellent drinks (I recommend the mezcal tasting and the lychee martini) The wait staff is very knowledgeable of the allergens on the menu and we were able to safely avoid peanuts, sesame and gluten to accommodate our party. Could not recommend flora farms more! It was my favorite meal I had in Cabo.
