Dark Shepherd

We had a lovely dinner at Dark Shepherd with my family. The service was excellent although it was clearly busy and the food took over 30 minutes to be brought to the table. One of our dinner party was gluten intolerant and the restaurant was accommodating, understanding and knowledgeable with regard to dietary restrictions. The tomahawk was cooked perfectly to our preference and was overall delicious. We also had the lamb pasta, lamb ribs, kingfish ceviche, pork belly & octopus. Everything was cooked to perfection. The octopus was well seasoned and perfectly tender. The lamb ribs were also tender and the flavour was excellent. The sides were had were - saganaki, potatoes and beet salad - all were absolutely beautiful. Every dish was a standout in its own right. Overall it was a phenomenal experience and we are glad we had the opportunity to dine at Dark Shepherd and looking forward to visiting again.

We had the flocks fest banquet 68$ pp. Food was fantastic, the service was exceptional! One of us is gluten free and the waitress was more than happy to answer any questions We had regarding the food. We did get a substitute for the GF person and the gluten option was given to me. For 68$ you can't go wrong with the amount of food given 2 of us struggled to finish. The Oysters with watermelon were a highlight as well as the bugs! We will definitely be returning to try another banquet!
