Darwin's Sandwich Evolution

A teeny cafe with a BIG heart! ♥️ We were on a short break in Shrewsbury and our Airbnb was not far from Darwin's. So an ideal stopping point when we were tired and thirsty! As tempted as I was to have a Pina colada milkshake, I went for the non-alcoholic version while my son had a peanut butter one. I was also able to have a delicious piece of gluten-free carrot cake. They cater for dietary requirements really well. We enjoyed it so much we made a plan on the spot to return after check-out on the Saturday morning!! A full English really set us up for a looonngg day of travelling. Despite being ever so busy - both staff were so friendly and we bought some Shrewsbury biscuits for family (including a Vegan version, wish there was a gluten-free one but I know myself how hard it is to bake with GF flours!) Great value for money and proper home cooked food with quality ingredients. We loved our visit and hope to be back soon.
