One of the best vegan meals I've had in years, and the ENTIRE menu is also nut and gluten free!! Staff very friendly and keen to help. Service on a Saturday night was quick and efficient. Doughnut Balls and Bubble Waffle Ice Cream were GF desserts to die for. £25 per head for a generous main, pud and a beer, and there's a multistory carpark only 100 yards away that's not too expensive. Would travel miles to come again.

Hopefully Made us a favourite place for lunch or just coffee in Shrewsbury. All gluten free (which I need) and always space to sit. Dog friendly is a bonus and they use bread from GFB which is gluten free and like proper bread. Dropped a star for service as on the last couple of visits specific requests (two forks to share a dish for instance) have been forgotten or ignored. Still our top place for lunch in Shrewsbury.

A cosy coffee shop that serves excellent loose leaf tea and amazing cakes. Seriously the carrot cake was delicious! It's a lovely place to take a break from exploring the city or shopping and has reasonable prices. Gluten free and vegan options are also available and delicious. Well worth a visit. The staff were friendly but not as welcoming as they could have been, they were pretty busy.

I always have a great time at The Armoury. I know they will have lots of gluten free options and the service is brilliant. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the food is excellent. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Marianna welcomed us with warmth and a great knowledge of meals on offer for coeliac. She completely put me at ease knowing I was in safe hands here. We were given the house homemade lemonade as a greeting complimentary - so refreshing on an unusually hot day. Service was fast and efficient with a great flow; not rushed but not waiting too long either. Good food, cooked well - delicious! What more can you ask? Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely be returning soon with the family ❤️

Popped in for a new year's day brunch, dog and gluten free friendly. The food is locally sourced, seasonal and very tasty although I found that there were only a few vegetarian options available. I opted for the mushrooms which were fantastic. I like that they have an option of a small or large portion as I often only want a smaller meal. Overall very good, tasty food with super service.

Very authentic place and great quality food. We ordered a platter for two, and although it's seems expensive, we struggled to finish it! The appetizers were also very good. Bacon bites, fried pickles, kids corndog and cheese pretzel were superb, but the Mac and cheese was something else! They were also very attentive to one of our guests gluten free needs, double checking the intolerance chart with us. There's so much on the menu I want to try, so we'll definitely be back!

I went here with my husband prior to going to a gig in Shrewsbury. I had been a year or so previously and knew they were gluten free friendly. Firstly the service was dreadful. We were left sitting at our table for some time and eventually had to chase around to find someone who was willing to take our order. The starter arrived within a reasonable time, but there was a 40 minute wait for our pizzas. Again we had to chase around to find someone to ask about our meal. Eventually we were told they would put our pizzas in the oven as soon as the next lot came out. The pizzas eventually arrived, but at that point we were already late for the gig and knew we would miss a good part of the concert. My husband said his pizza was OK, however my gluten free pizza was awful. The base was really soggy and tough. It was so dense and leathey in texture that I could not cut it. It tasted like sawdust and looked undercooked. No one asked us if our meals were OK and we could not find anyone to complain to. As so much time of our time had been wasted, eventually we quickly paid and left. I was very disappointed in both the food and service and will not go back to Pizza Express.

Popped into this artisan Gelato shop for ice-cream rewards after Junior Parkrun. They were so helpful with little taster spoons so my daughter could try a flavour she wasn’t sure about. What really impressed me was their treatment of my gluten intolerance: the server asked if I had any food allergies and said they had GF cones when I thought I’d have to get a tub! She also politely asked if it was Coeliac and when I said yes, she told me she would change her gloves AND the scoop! This is such a high level of allergy awareness I was immediately impressed by them. Cannot recommend highly enough!!! P.s family LOVED the Millionaire Shortbread flavour.

My wife who is gluten intolerant ordered a pizza, (Gluten Free). She informed the person serving us that she is Gluten Intolerant and she assured my wife. Within 1 hour of having eaten the pizza my wife had an allergic reaction to the pizza which was obviously not GF as stated on the menu. People with allergies are dependent on restaurants getting it right to avoid serious reactions or other. I did make contact with the restaurant and at this time they have not responded to my call concerns.

Last night was my third dining experience with Osteria and it was truly incredible. The staff were amazing and as always, the food was delicious. Two of us had one of their pizzas and the other 2 had other dishes. They too were very happy with their selections. We also had starters and everyone loved what they chose. I had the calamari and it truly was the very best I've ever had. Two of us also had desserts. The lemon cheesecake was divine! I tell all of our customers who are visiting Shrewsbury and looking for dinner recommendations about Osteria and I tell them all it's the best pizza I've had since we returned from our honeymoon in Italy in 2016. For those with food allergens, I know how scary it can be to eat out. My husband is coeliac and we struggle to find restaurants with proper protocols to limit contamination. When I enquired about their protocols I was thrilled to learn how seriously they take food allergens and the lengths they go to limit possible contamination. I was also impressed by their menu selections for those with a gluten allergy. Most restaurants have a limited selection of gluten-free options. He has now eaten with them twice and has not experienced any of the symptoms he experiences when he has been contaminated at other restaurants. Perhaps the best praise I can give them is to say that if they ever close their doors I think all of Shrewsbury will go into mourning. Between the incredible staff, the cosy atmosphere and the authentic Italian food they serve, I can't think of any other place I would rather take friends for dinner.

Great locoation overlooking the river. Really enjoyed our meals freshly cooked and to a high standard. Gluten free options. Service was OK but had to wait to order dessert whilst a table of 8 paid individually- by which time we decides to just ask for the bill which again took longer than expected. Main and soft drink £60 for 2 people plus tip.

We held a baby shower at the Riverbank on Sunday 23rd June. We had the whole upstairs area for 2 hours, with a little extra time at the start to get drinks. We were able to decorate the room in advance. I can not rate this experience highly enough, from the moment I booked the venue were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The staff on the day were a delight to work with. We opted for the cold buffet and the guest all enjoyed there food, they also catered for vegan and gluten free. The price can for this can not be matched anywhere else in town.

A short walk away from most car parks (Shrewsbury does not have free parking), not a lot of seating, but I've always found a seat, Dogs are allowed, too. Really nice cakes and good choice too, gluten-free cakes are really nice Staff friendly and helpful Makes a change from coffee chains

We had the most fabulous lunch at The Henry Tudor House. The rabbit starter was outstanding as was the game terrine. The mains of ox cheek and venison were delicious. And the fact that almost everything is gluten free options available is amazing! Price was excellent value for money. We had cheesecake and pear desserts. Both excellent! and the drinks were as expected in a Joules. Highly recommend. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent day!

We ordered a selection of desserts from Pont bakery for our dessert table at our wedding. The desserts were delicious and beautifully presented. All of our guests commented on how tasty they were. The brown butter and pecan blondie was a particular highlight! Pont communicated well with us, and were really helpful bringing our vision to life and making sure that all dietary requirements (vegan and gluten free) were catered for.

You ever get that feeling when certain people make food with love, it transcends into their cooking, this is one of those places! I had the chefs special miso noodle soup, with kimchi and I can hands down say that it was one of the most beautiful and delicious things I have ever eaten. I eat a lot of Thai and Asian food, and some places don't get it right but Okra has mastered the flavours and what's great is it's all plant based - so many options for vegan and gluten free. I wish that Okra had one of their restaurants in the West Midlands because I would definitely be a frequent visitor to try out the rest of their menu!
