Denny's Restaurant

This may be the smaller Denny's in Bako but that holds zero bearing for this place when judging their quality. They always have fresh tasting tea and the breakfast food is always good. I almost exclusively order breakfast when I go to Denny's and as someone who can't eat gluten I really appreciate that they offer a gluten free English muffin and that they don't thicken their omelettes with pancake batter like some other places that offer breakfast all day. I did discover via a friend's order tonight that there may be cilantro in the corn side dish. He is unfortunately one of the people who taste soap when eating cilantro so I am taking his word for it this time. Our waitress was absolutely stellar and kept on top of everything despite there being several massive party tables around our seating area. She was an absolute joy and was able to remain friendly and helpful while juggling so many things at once. It is definitely not an easy job but she almost made it seem to be with her phenomenal skill and attitude. We were a humble foursome of late night movie goers and she made us feel just as important as the table of twelve just down the way.
