Overall chaotic and overhyped. So we had a waiting time for half an hour, but we were told 25 mins so that was fine. We had a look and the menu while waiting so we ordered right away. The waitress was very nice and asked about allergies. I have a gluten intolerance and they have digital menu for that, which was good but left very little choice. But that was alright. we’re two people, the first dish arrived after 25 minutes. Another 10 minutes later I got some rice but my dish was still not there, so I asked about it. They assured me it should come right out. After another few minutes the dish finally came but it was the wrong one (one that I cannot even eat because of gluten). So after waiting for 40 minutes, they brought the wrong dish… they then had to figure it all out and after another couple of minutes I got my food. The manager apologised and we did not have to pay, which is the only reason this is not a one star review. All chaos set a side, mistakes can be made and there can be days where everything goes wrong. Good: very nice staff, even got chai during the waiting time Not good: the food is good but not better than any other Indian I have had. I also think the place is overhyped, it looks way cozier than it is on the pictures and it was pretty loud, because there fit more people than you would think from the pictures. Also after my order I asked if rice is coming with the dish (as usually in Indian restaurants). Only then was I informed that there was no side dish at all, I was not even asked if I wanted a side upon ordering. So overall not worth the hype in my opinion, regular Indian food in a nice but not overwhelming setting, but chaotic service. Not serving all dishes at the same time is an absolute no go in any restaurant.
