Ah Dishoom! We had a business brunch meeting, not our first, we love this place in the mornings. Bottomless chai and chocolate chai just keep appearing at your elbow, staff are so good. Other coffees and teas also excellent. I'm gluten free so the granola bowl is perfect - granola, vanilla yogurt and colourful fresh fruit always make me so happy. Everyone else went for wraps or the omelette or the bottomless porridge - something for everyone including the dairy-free folk too. We'll be back. Set over three floors, but very popular so do book

Limited gluten free options. Very discouraging for an Indian restaurant where food is mostly naturally gluten free

I was extremely impressed with the service we received. My friend requires a gluten-free diet, and our server, Giorgos, went out of his way to explain her options, spending time going through the menu carefully, so that she could feel confident that what she was eating wouldn't make her sick. He was extremely friendly and helpful, which we both appreciated very much. The food was prepared and served extremely quickly, which, given that the café was very busy at the time we were there, was impressive, and very welcome. The food was also tasty and unique, to me, at least, as I tried food I would never have eaten before. It was an extremely pleasant experience, and I would have no hesitation recommending Dishoom to anyone travelling to Edinburgh in the future. I certainly hope to eat there again in the future. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience!
