Went into Dobbies restaurant yesterday near Edinburgh. I was there with my sister and 97year old mother. We ordered 2 fish dinners and a Gluten free meal of Gammon egg and chips, one pot of tea and 2 waters. When the meals arrived the chips where cold the fish was so small, I was so disappointed with the meal. I did bring it to the young girls attention when I paid for the meal but nothing was said. I felt very let down and disappointed I certainly won’t be back. For the price you pay you would expect a better service.

Great garden centre, gift store and Waitrose with other shops on site. Cafe is good and 2 hot drinks free per month through membership is a great bargain. Very limited on Gluten Free cakes but lovely fish and chip lunches which are GF. The shopping trollies are huge and unwieldy for older people. Over the last few years we have repeatedly asked for some smaller trollies to be provided - to no avail!!
