Despite the crowd, we waited only 20 minutes before it was our turn to indulge in their delectable treats. One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to taste the different ice cream flavors before making our selection. With approximately 14 enticing flavors to choose from, we were spoiled for choice. The scoop sizes were average, and the texture of the ice cream was spot-on—creamy and delightful. I opted for the sorbet, and it exceeded my expectations in terms of taste. For those who prefer a refreshing drink alongside their ice cream, self-service tap water is readily available. In addition to the street parking, we were pleasantly surprised to find that parking outside the street was also readily available, making our visit even more convenient. Furthermore, Duck Island Ice Cream caters to various dietary needs with a range of gluten-free options, ensuring that everyone can indulge in their delectable treats. Despite the sizable crowd and the parking situation, our experience at Duck Island Ice Cream was nothing short of delightful. It's a must-visit destination for any ice cream enthusiast in Wellington.
