Ego at Manor Farm, Worcester

It's so refreshing to eat in a local restaurant rather than a 'pub with food' and the gluten free menu is extensive. Naomi looked after us very well and always service with a smile. Lovely Valentines lunch.

Arrived at the time booked, lovely staff helped to table took order etc all wonderful. In fact, food was good, great even. Service staff to use were wonderful. Speed at which food came to the table, awful. 1 hour in and we had only had our starter and the 1st round of drinks. That is the only reason I have listed the service as 3, not the waitress staff by any means who were lovely. But only having 3 chunks of camembert or whatever the cheese was, not even a mini one, after 1 hour was not good. Also, as a side note, did not see any GF gluten free options. We live local and have been a few times, and would likely go more, if it were quicker.

On arrival we were greeted by Josh who noted we’d not been in for a while, he was also our waiter for the evening and made sure everything was satisfactory. We took advantage of the £10 kebab offer although I had the mixed kebab for £20, and we shared the Parmesan & truffle fries which were delicious. My girlfriend’s gluten free wraps had been warmed and had become brittle but Josh quickly changed them and we informed him that it’s best not to pre warm them. It was incredibly busy which is always great to see, Josh was super attentive when needed and we look forward to returning again soon.
