This place is good! BUT READ THIS the corn tortillas are not by default celiac safe — the flour tortillas are on the same grill. They were so nice and suggested grilling the corn tortillas in a frying pan. Be careful!
The chips are not safe here either — the are fried in the same deep fryer as fish tempura.

Enjoyed a lovely night out with friends at El Mitote. We shouted up at 6pm on Friday and were seated right away, but the place filled up very quickly after that, so plan accordingly since they don’t take reservations.
I had the tostadas with camarones (shrimp), my friends had tacos and quesadillas. Each of our dishes were about $20 and they accommodated my friend’s gluten allergy.
The servers were great and the noise level was a little much for my ears.
