Escondite West Island

This is the third Escondite I’ve dined at and I’ve had a great experience at all of them! I took my cousins here for the best tacos I’ve had in Montreal and they were both very happy with their food and drinks and would come again next time they visit! Our waitress was very nice, had great recommendations and even helped accommodate my gluten allergy. I highly recommend the cilantro smash, any of the mojitos and the cauliflower tacos 😋

I can't believe it's taken me this long to go here! We went 2 couples, got a reservation the day of which was great. My wife is recently diagnosed as celiac so going out to restaurants is still a new thing for us. That being said, and once we mentioned it to the waitress, who was great btw, recommended the tasting menu. We gave her an idea of what we liked and they brought everything we wanted. Not only that, separated all the gluten free items for us, made sure to keep the sauces on the side (as some contain gluten) and there were so many great options. Food was delicious, drinks were great and service was fantastic. We will 100% be back again, and my wife now has a go to restaurant as she does love Mexican cuisine, so this is great news for her.
