Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

I have Celiac and haven’t dined out in months. I went to FireBirds with my daughter tonight and was very impressed with the care that the manager took upon learning I had Celiac. He came over after our original waiter seemed annoyed and impatient with me. He doubled checked that was I ordered was safe . The lady at the front was also a sweetheart, she let us move tables after my daughter told her what happened. Our new waiter Markell was a doll, very attentive and friendly. The meal I had there was the first real meal I’ve had in weeks due to complications from my disease. I would recommend going for the tasty mashed potatoes & sirloin steak, and also if you also have a gluten sensitivity or Celiac:)

The food is delicious! Can't say enough about the quality of the steaks. Truly the best steaks in Frederick, MD. I wish they had gluten free buns so I could try their burgers. Some of the apps are a bit pricey, like the cheesesteak eggrolls which are nearly $20. The wait staff are all amazing. Super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is upscale rustic, cozy, very nice. The only complaint I have about the atmosphere is that the hostess could be friendlier and more welcoming. The host/hostess is the first person customers encounter, so they should be setting the stage for a pleasant meal.
