First Watch

We stumbled upon this breakfast spot. The menu is unique. We had traditional breakfast platters upgraded with million dollar bacon and gluten free toast. Staff brings a carafe of hot coffee and ice water to table. The bacon and potatoes were delicious. Definitely recommend.

I visited for breakfast on a Sunday and had a disappointing experience due to a serious gluten allergy concern. Despite clearly informing our server about the allergy, the meal was served with regular toast. We assumed it was gluten-free since the allergy had been noted, but about 15 minutes later, a gluten-free piece of toast was brought out with no explanation. When we asked for a manager, a different server claimed to be one and argued when questioned, before finally getting the actual manager. The lack of care and communication around a serious dietary restriction was concerning. I hope better protocols are put in place for handling allergies in the future.
