Fully gluten free fish and chip shop. Huge menu, fish & chips, scotch eggs, patties, burgers, kebabs, pizzas, desserts - plus specials etc.
Fish & Chips - Light batter, nice flaky fish and the chips had lovely flavour to them.
Scotch Egg - Served warm with salad, Homemade - The best GF one ever had.
Corned Beef Pattie - Homemade, bags of flavour and super light batter like tempura. So tasty
Pizza - I went for the chips and cheese one as up north, never seen before. But it works really well, the nice tomato sauce blends with other ingredients. Plus a great cheese pull.
Kebab - They normally serve with chips or salad, but had plain with their dips. Really light, not greasy, tasty, first time tried one thats gluten free.
Puddings - They need to do a menu even just a chalkboard, as this is super rare being gluten free. The lady across from me had sticky toffee pudding which looked great and I went for the tropical roulade. Not to sweet and sugary like some, really light and fruity, the perfect ending to a meal.
They do take away and eat in, function room upstairs.Fully operational bar, plus lots of gluten free beers and soft drinks. Also sell GF products like Chutneys/GF vinegar etc at good prices.
Generous portions, loved the fish/pudding plates. Food cooked to order, so freshly made. Service was great, super friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Some nights they do have entertainment in there.
Was very impressed with the quality and taste, will certainly be back :)
