I waited 30 minutes for a simple drip coffee. When ordering, I clearly said “whole milk.” The cashier entered oat milk instead. I corrected her immediately and explained that I cannot have oat milk due to gluten intolerance. She said she changed it (and I saw her update it). After waiting half an hour just to have drip coffee poured into a cup, I received my drink and it was clearly made with oat milk. The milk was separating and clumpy. I tasted it to confirm, and yes, it was oat milk. I asked again for regular milk. Instead of remaking the drink properly in a new cup, she poured out the coffee and reused the same cup, despite me explaining that I have a gluten intolerance. That is not acceptable. On top of that, the attitude was dismissive and unpleasant, as if I was being difficult for asking for the correct order. For the price, the wait time, and the complete lack of care for dietary restrictions, this was extremely disappointing. Not recommended.

If you're in Georgetown, this new little café is a must-visit. Flor Coffee + Books brings a little piece of Buenos Aires to DC 🇦🇷🩵 It's the perfect spot to work and enjoy something delicious. They have gluten-free options, a lovely atmosphere, and super friendly owners who make you feel right at home. I love having this place in the neighborhood!
