Flour Girl & Flame

Flour Girl was such a unique, fun, and delicious caterer for our wedding reception! The food was amazing as usual, and they took special care separating gluten friendly pizzas on a separate buffet since we had so many guests who needed GF pizza. Our guests delighted in trying pickles on pizza (Pretty Big Dill) and pineapple (War & Pineapple), couldn’t stop talking about the Fall Harvest salad, and they were so impressed by the team and watching them make pizzas on site. One of my favorite details is how much care they take to decorate the buffet setup with fresh flowers to really make it look special and beautiful. Loved everything - they’re the best, highly recommend!!!

It was a bustling Saturday night. Everyone front of house was hustling to take care of the rush. We had wings, cheesy bread, one regular crust pizza and two gluten free pizzas. The gluten free pizza tasted homemade and was the best we have ever had! The honey on the crust was mind blowing. So so so excited to have a local place to grab unique flavors on top of great pizza basics - like the crust and sauce. As another queer owned business in the community, we can’t wait to make this a regular part of our monthly routine. Supporting and sharing a welcoming place, who’s food practices and mission align with us. Thanks for existing :)

We hired flour girl and flame to cater our wedding and WOW 11/10. The food was insanely amazing from start to finish. We had scallops during our cocktail hour (which are so easy to overcook) and everyone raved about them. They didn't last long! The stuffed peppadews were lights out and so were the spreads and roasted veg. We loved the entire spread and it was gorgeous. The pizza buffet was everything but ordinary. It was beautiful, fresh, unique, delicious and the pies kept on coming!! We had so much food and leftovers bc. they did not skimp on the amount of food for people. They kept the pizzas going until everyone was satisfied. we also had salads on our buffet and they were made with local, fresh, seasonal ingredients. We loved the roasted carrot salad the most! They were so fun to work with, had the best energy and set up and take down was done without skipping a beat. Working with Madeleine was a delight bc. she is so positive and accommodating. I have a gluten allergy and ppl who have vegan / GF preferences and she didn't even bat an eye when we were planning. We also changed our menu and they helped us create a special pizza for the season. Our tasting was also SO fun. We got to try anything we were considering (omg there was so much food!) and drinks were included. They really made our day special from the planning phase until the very end.
