Flying Fish Public Market & Grill

I have celiac and am very sensitive to gluten. The waitress was fantastic and asked right from the beginning about allergies. She had brought out their complimentary tuna dip with crackers. After I told her about the celiac thing she apologized for the crackers and offered to replace it with celery as a side instead of the crackers. My plate was a bright blue color to make sure everyone knew. The food was delicious and the green beans were amazing. I felt very comfortable with everyone’s knowledge and how careful they were. The waitress told me that all of the restaurants in barefoot landing have a very vigorous training and methods put in place for patrons with allergies. I am happy to say I had no reactions from eating there.

This restaurant is a family favorite that we frequent when visiting on vacation. Within our unit there are shellfish, gluten, and dairy allergies, and the wait staff cheerfully accommodated our needs with ease. Our particular waiter was knowledgeable of the menu ingredients in each dish and was able to guide us to meal options that fit our diet. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is kid friendly while still feeling upscale. Take a few moments to check out the fish market area downstairs while waiting for your table!

Great food. The waitress "Stephanie B" was great and tended to all of our gluten-free needs and questions. Will definitely come back again.
