When they first opened, it was amazing — especially the breakfast buffet with smoked salmon. I had no problem paying around $25 for it back then. But honestly, every time I come back, it just keeps getting worse and worse! I ordered the omelet with mushrooms and goat cheese — thankfully, it came with a side of grits, because the grits were amazing. The omelet, though… 🙈 I sent it back. I wasn’t even in the mood to try anything else after that. I mean, come on — if you’re charging $17 for an omelet, at least use fresh mushrooms and real eggs, not some egg substitute or just egg yolk. It’s frustrating because this is literally the only place with such a great view, but the menu has become so disappointing. And don’t even get me started on the ‘gluten-free’ options! People — being gluten-free isn’t a trend or a diet choice because I’m bored. It means I cannot consume gluten because it damages my small intestine, causes inflammation, pain, and long-term health issues. It’s a medical necessity, not a lifestyle fad. So why don’t you at least try to accommodate that? It’s not that freaking hard! Oh, and the Bloody Mary — total disaster. Please train your bartender and invest in better ingredients. A piece of cucumber and a couple of olives is not all it takes to make a proper Bloody Mary!

Ate at Foodcraft two days in a row. The hostess needs training on how to seat customers and in customer service. We waited 30 minutes for a table the first day (we were the fourth in line to be seated). It wasn’t because the restaurant was full but due to incompetency of the hostess to have a group of four step aside while a table was being cleared for them. The hostess was downright rude to my party and to others. Only rated review with one star because of the experience coming in the door. On a positive note, the waitstaff are fabulous. The food was great and they have gluten free options. I rate the rest of the staff five stars.
