Fork Hill Kitchen is a gem. Small, family-owned, and relaxed — the kind of place where you feel welcome right away. We showed up late on a Saturday night, about 30 minutes before the kitchen closed, and the staff couldn’t have been more kind or accommodating.
We started with the mussels — fresh, flavorful, and gone fast. My wife ordered the orecchiette with sausage, I had the risotto. These are dishes we order often when we go out, and Fork Hill nailed them. Balanced, well-seasoned, and properly cooked — not always a given.
Dessert was simple and well done. The owner stopped by to check on us, which is always a good sign of a place that cares.
I have Celiac, and the server was excellent — knew exactly what I could have, no guesswork or hesitation.
This is the kind of spot you root for. We’ll be back.
