Recieved undercooked chicken. BUT new meal within 5 minutes. Cost of dish removed from menu, free round of drinks and an unreserved apology. Would come again due to the excellent customer service. Gluten free fish and chips available. Lovely view over the bay.

Although a Newquay boy, this was my first visit to the Fort. The food and beer were the standard St Austell brewery fayre, not that there is anything wrong with that! Good selection for all including vegans and gluten free. Carvery seemed popular. The indoor play area for little ones was very popular and makes this a super venue for parents with youngsters. A friendly atmosphere - another customer helped my son in law to blow up a kids balloon! All in all, a pleasant place to spend a Sunday afternoon
