Our group of eight had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Founding Farmers DC! From start to finish, everything was perfect — food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. Everyone at the table couldn’t stop raving about their meals. One person in our group has a severe gluten allergy, and we were so impressed by how many delicious gluten-free options were available. The drinks were incredible — I had an Arnold Palmer and their scratch-made vanilla cola, both bursting with flavor. Friends who had cocktails couldn’t stop talking about how amazing they were. The appetizers set the tone for the night: skillet cornbread, balsamic bacon blue dates, spinach dip, bacon lollis, and devil-ish eggs with bacon — every plate was completely cleaned. For my entrée, I had the short ribs, which were tender and flavorful, and the mashed potatoes were unbelievably creamy and rich. And then dessert… wow! Uncle Buck’s Beignets, banana cream pie, ice cream, and chocolate chip cookies — the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. From start to finish, it was hands down the best dining experience we’ve had in DC. Can’t wait to go back!
