Freida Mo's

I’ve visited Freida Mo's a few times because their offerings are genuinely excellent. The vintage goods are beautifully curated and even carry a fantastic selection of kids’ items, a 10/10 for me as a new mum! And the cookies are absolutely delicious *chefs kiss*. As someone with celiac disease, I really appreciate having safe options available. Unfortunately, the service has been consistently off. Some of the staff members can be rather snappy and rude at times. I’ve waited twenty minutes for a drink when it has been empty inside, and on my most recent visit, I tried to go in when both the door sign and Google said they were open, only to be shooed away. They could easily have come out and told me they weren’t ready, but being turned away like that felt especially odd in Liverpool, a city known for its warmth and hospitality. Whenever I crave a cookie now, I ask my husband to order it for me.

As a recently diagnosed coeliac, it's really hard to navigate my options around lark lane (and Liverpool in general). Thought i'd pop in Freida Mos for some fashion bits but asked just in case whether they offer GF milks for their coffee. The barista has kindly got the milks out and checked for me/with me. She also took the time to filter us a fresh batch of decaf coffee from scratch. The shop has GF cannolis and other lovely bakes. The white chocolate and cappucino cannoli were amazing! Cannolis are the last thing you'd think you'd be eating when you go on a GF diet, but Frieda Mos helped turned that round for me. Cannot thank you enough xx
