French Broad Chocolate Factory & Cafe

A major highlight of our long weekend in Asheville. As someone with multiple food allergies (soy, dairy, gluten, among others), I fully expected to sit back during the chocolate tasting without anything to try. I was so wrong! The staff accommodated me beautifully for the tasting and I was even able to pick up a few treats while in store! The tour was amazing and so fun for my kids. They were engaged and fascinated the entire time. Don't miss the factory tour. It's wonderful! Yes, the chocolate is expensive, but once you take the tour, you'll realize why. This is a far cry from Hershey's- you'll never look at chocolate the same! Thanks for being so accommodating and for cultivating such a welcoming atmosphere. We'll be back!

Fantastic desserts, fantastic chocolate and ice cream. If you are looking for something hot they have hot chocolate and a liquid truffle that is amazing. They also have some Gluten Free desserts.
