Overall food was lightyears away from Gahan in PEI. What a disappointment! A staff member -i think he was the supervisor because he was switching back and forth with our waiter to serve us)was changing lightbulbs on 3 light fixtures nearby (stepladder was 3 feet away). The ceilings are incredibly high so who knows what floated down on our food. Fish and chip batter was mushy in no time and my fish tacos were certainly generous in anything else BUT fish. Waiter was ok. When we asked about mussels (we remembered the ones in PEI 6 years before) the menu had understandably changed but they said “oh we still do that type (white wine, etc) but it’s not on the menu because it’s not gluten free”. When we received them they had no bread. Then we had to wave down the waiter to ask for bread! How about asking us in the first place!! Sheesh, all the way from northern Ontario for this. This place is all about location, certainly not about food and service. So disappointed ☹️
