Garza Blanca blew our minds. This place is AMAZING. This review is coming from a service, foodie snob who loves and expects the best, especially out of 5 star. The second we walked in they greeted us with smiles. They speak Spanish and happily offer to speak English for you. When we went they were offering a segment of a couple hours to talk about the resort and in return, you’d get the entire trip half off. We declined and they didn’t seem upset at all. The concierge was extremely accommodating. They set up everything we wanted to do with ease. Highly recommend the suites because it comes with a 24/7 butler. The whole hotel was extremely clean, the hallways were spacious and decorated extremely well. The rooms were amazing. Clean and extremely well thought out. They restock everything daily. The beds were comfortable. The service was AMAZING by the ENTIRE staff. They had the best attitudes and were happy to see you. Did it help that my boyfriend spoke Spanish? Yeah, I would say it did. lol. The servers at each restaurant were amazing. Definitely try their steakhouse. It may not look like much but we had the best Ribeye we’ve ever had. If you’re gluten free don’t worry! They have SO MANY OPTIONS. If you hit the spa, omg it was bliss. It overlooks the entire ocean, the amenities were out of this world. They have a high tech facial spa. Overall this was a 10/10 and we’re definitely coming back to celebrate my birthday

Overall this is a wonderful resort but with a few caveats. My girlfriend and I spent 12 days there recently 'all inclusive' package, and really enjoyed it overall, but a few details kept me from rating it 5 stars (I would probably give it a solid 4.5 stars if I had the option). First the good: * The food is wonderful, a step above anywhere else I've stayed. My girlfriend is gluten intolerant (and also a very picky eater) and there were plenty of options to keep her satisfied. * The service is also extremely good. * The location and grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. * The bedrooms are very comfortable. * A little secret that we didn't learn until the end of our trip - you can swim at night if you want! (The pool signs say it closes at 8 but the staff didn't seem to mind if you took a late-night dip). As for the things that bothered me: * The check-in process was very slow * You will be pressured (multiple times) to attend a time-share sales pitch session. * The internet is lame unless you pay an additional $17/day even with an all-inclusive package. * No booze in the room with all-inclusive, you can buy it from their shop if you want. * You can't swim in the ocean here. * 'Service charge is included' with all-inclusive but you constantly sign checks that ask for additional tips. * They didn't have junior suites with king-sized beds so I was forced to upgrade my room. Even with these problems, I would recommend the hotel (my girlfriend absolutely loved it).
