Gemini Melbourne

Been following Geminis journey for a long time now. Shane and Tresna have truly made a special place along Sydney Road. Being a local I have been popping by for coffees regularly and cannot complain about it! Finally got some girlfriends booked for dinner. We were in the back dining room, facing the kitchen and chose the Chefs Menu. We added some oysters and everything was impeccable! Great flavour and choices by Ched ADI. Especially the ability to provide a gluten free menu/alternatives for one of our party members. Delicious! And will be back.

I booked Gemini for a birthday lunch with friends and family. I am lucky enough to live very close to this venue but I would certainly travel for the experience. We had the Chefs set menu as there was more than 6 of us. Everything on this menu was exceptional! Tresna touched based with me days prior to put aside some celebratory bottles to pair with meals for my guests and also find out about any dietary requirements. They catered beautifully for gluten intolerances, fructose intolerance and vegetarians. A lot of the dishes/ produce incorporates something “house made” - every dish was stunning! Cocktails are excellent and very reasonable priced. Drink selection is also fantastic, with quite a few Pet Nats to select from - extra delicious! Tresna is very knowable and we enjoyed her stories of the wine or local spirits used on their menu. Both Shane and Tresna are very attentive hosts who make a great effort to make you feel welcomed and at home in their little bar!
