As an expatriate European I can not sufficiently describe how thrilled I am to have found this treasure of a Bakery! It is run by an adorable German-American couple together with their family. Stepping in, feels like you are suddenly transposed to a bakery in Paris with its rich traditions, and fitting decor.
Finding bread that does not consist of 90% air and bleached wheat, but instead of dense, healthy and tasty whole grain, nuts and seeds, has plugged a hole in my life that I have been seeking to fill ever since I left for the US. All of their breads are phenomenal! You literally can’t go wrong with any of them; they even have gluten free options!
It has become our new “start of the weekend”-tradition to go here. Personally I can’t ever leave there without a spinach-feta croissant and a perfect Italian Illy coffee.
