The place does not take brunch reservations. We arrived and there were standing around outside but it wasn't clear if they were in line or just milling about. We went in to get a table for two and found out that was a line, we watched many people make the same mistake we did and have to come back out and line up, so maybe some signage would be helpful there. We didn't have to wait long which was great because while it was sunny it was a bit chilly. We got a very cute two person table. The place was packed but I didn't feel like it was two nosy or anyone was too close. I order the gramercy park omelette and bacon, my girl friend who is gluten free got the provencal omelette and substituted the biscuits for potatoes. The biscuits are so good especially with there strawberry butter. It was the first time I had strawberry butter and I will definitely be having more in the future. The bacon are the thickest slices I've ever had and were a real treat. My omelette was better in theory than in practice. I love granny smith apples and cheddar cheese, but for some reason in the omelette they were more separate then blended. I would get a bite of egg and apple or egg and cheese but they almost never were mixed so the balance of the sweet apple with salted cheese just didn't happen. The apple slices were also pretty firm so it didn't feel like apart of the omelette sometimes. My friends omelette on the other hand was AMAZING. The goat cheese was everything her and I had split the two omelettes and I was so grateful we had because it was bliss. The service was really good even with it being so busy. I really enjoyed the experience here.
