Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen

Wow! We were expecting excellent food, and that is precisely what we received, along with some exceptional service. For starters, it was a spur-of-the-moment ‘where do we eat’ while navigating the jungle of pedestrian ramps and road closures in Vegas. Not expecting immediate seating, we were surprised to find available seating at the bar. Our server, Jose, was an excellent host, friendly, attentive, and clearly an asset to the business. We ordered our food - Wellington, Lobster Risotto, along with a Ribeye. I have food allergies (gluten and nuts), and Jose understood the assignment… We can take this off of that, let the chef know about that, etc. Our risotto was slightly delayed due to not meeting the chef's standards, but when it arrived, it was outstanding and worth the wait. The Wellington and ribeye were cooked to perfection, and the whipped potatoes were heavenly. We also enjoyed the cocktails, which were spot on in terms of the alcohol-to-mix ratio. This was a fantastic experience, and I would be delighted to return. Don't be afraid of the bar; the experience was just as good as the one at a table. Jose put the dinner over the top, being attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, especially addressing my food allergy concerns.

It has always been my dream to go to Hell's Kitchen since I saw the show. Finally, our 10 year Anniversary! A good reason to go. We don't eat very much in general, so we agreed to share the 3 course meal. It started with the scallops, I believe there was short ribs on top and a celery purée underneath. Very good. The beef wellington was quite amazing! Next to it, was a potato purée, with pieces of a turnip and a carrot, there were pieces of a trufflle mushroom in there. The beef wellington is wrapped in a puff pastry and has a bit of cream on the inside but you can't tell. It was just heavenly! The sticky toffee pudding was incredible. Luke a warm cake with some sauce on the bottom and the ice cream on top was a cookie butter flavor! Yum yum! Sooo goood! I almost wanted my own. Oh and I am gluten free but I indulged for one night, took a gluten pill and my tummy was fine.

Our server Alex was a Godsend! Absolute superb service! He remembered when we mentioned in passing that it was mine and my friend's 21st birthdays, bringing out celebratory Sticky Toffee Puddings for the both of us! My mom has celiac disease, and he helped guide us through the menu and figure out what she could eat! Excellent service for a special day, service I'm extremely grateful for!
